How can I use a NON-Hotmail e-mail address with MSN or Windows Messenger?
Even if your basic e-mail address is not an Hotmail account, it still seems that you're forced to use a Microsoft Passport to use MSN Messenger. Luckily, there is a backdoor:
1) Go to www.passport.com and the site may recognize you by your passport on your PC (Outlook Express or a cookie).
2) Choose sign out and create a new passport with your own email address and password.
3) When your done sign in with your new passport! Now people will see your REAL email address instead of the Hotmail one.
